You might be asking, "J - what are you doing?"
Well, as you probably already know (or maybe not) the hubby and I went to Europe this September. He had this great idea to keep a travel blog of our trip so that our friends and family could follow us on our grand adventure.
He manned the coding and design of things, like the good little web designer that he is, and I sort of ran the show in terms of writing the posts.
What I discovered is that I like to write. I found it fun to share myself with others. And I guess others enjoyed me sharing myself with them. And I'm not gonna lie, the whole write and reflect thing felt pretty darn good too.
So I decided to start a blog.
If I could happily record our European good times, then surely documenting this crazy little thing called life, only the BIGGEST adventure ever, could be just as much fun to do.
And I Do Have Another Reason
I don't think I'm very good at sharing the real me with "you". I just tend to share versions of myself with people depending on what category they are in (family, work, local friends, hometown friends...you get it).
Does anybody else ever feel like this?
Wouldn't it be nice just to put yourself out there? And say, "World, this is me! These are my thoughts, stories, and struggles. And this is what my take on it is."
So, that it what this blog is for me. Exposure and honesty mixed in with some fun and likely a good bit of reflection.
