Farewell, Hulk!

I said farewell to the Hulk today, and welcomed my new iPad air into our electronic device family.

I've decided to majorly loosen up on the budget, which happened after I got a pep talk from the hubs a few weeks back. The fact is that our current financial situation is temporary. What is the point of stressing so much about money and living so tightly and causing myself all of this extra anxiety?

It is good to be smart with finances and aware of spending habits, but the fact is, I was just worrying way too much about them. We are not broke. I make enough money to pay our bills and still have a little bit of fun money. So, why not dip into the savings a bit for some little extra tid bits every once in a while, until things work themselves out.

So, that is the new financial strategy in our household.

In celebration of this new financial outlook on life, I've decided to have a few splurges. The latest is on my new iPad, which I just procured today. The last time I bought a laptop was in like 2006, and it's a huge old HP which my main squeeze just nicknamed "the Hulk". I actually haven't used it in a number of years, but since my hand-me-down Mac Book Air crapped out after Europe, I pulled it out from the bowels of storage underneath my bed. That bad boy is biiiig and bulky.

And quite frankly, once you go Mac, you never go back.

I'm happy to say the Hulk will be put back to rest, and I plan to do my bloggin' and webbin' on my fancy new iPad air with the awesome lime green case.

Yay for splurges! If you haven't had one recently, I highly recommend it. Because they feel nice. So long, webbies!
